What gets the equivalent of 1,000 miles per gallon, doesn't pollute, will save the world, and transports you in breezy style? Your bike. - Mark Jenkins
Hi Joyce....This is my first Blog! Can't think of someone I would rather blog with..and to think I can take a vicarious bicycle trip and not have to worry about falling down...I will just think positive thoughts about you not doing that! You are on my radar! Good luck and looking forward to hearing from you! Kathy
Hi Everyone,
This is a big summer for me. I turn 60 on May 22 and decided to do something spectacular. On my birthday, I start my journey from the east coast of Virginia to the west coast of Oregon on my bicycle. I am going with a group of 13 other people from around the world. We have never met, but after 83 days of cycling and camping, I'm sure that we will know each other quite well. I'm a little nervous since I have never biked over mountains like the Rockies in my life. I've decided to do this one revolution at a time!! I'll keep you posted of my progress and I look forward to your emails of support. I'll talk to you again once I hit the road.
Joyce
